I never had time to shop on cyber monday. I have been having too much fun. Dinners, nights out, clubbing, hangovers, … and no time at all. So now I am sick. Typical!!! With all this time on my hands, I decided to venture out and actually check out lots of websites I never care too much for it.
I have found out Ssense.com has amazing stuff, and now they are having a sale sooooo worth spending the money. Most of their items are editorial and runway pieces. The ones that sell out fast and gets hard to find. The way I see it, good stuff you can wear now (let’s be honest, Winter haven’t even started) and years from right now. So go on a shopping spree that you won’t regret.
Here are a very few items I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE…xx

1. Alexander McQueen 2. Lanvin  3. Fallon  4. YSL  5.Hussein Chalayan  6. Lanvin  7. 3.1 Philip Lim (my fav) 8. Marc Jacobs
9. Dannijo 10. Alejandro Igelmo  11. Mulberry  12. Givenchy  13. Alexander McQueen  14. Carven  15. Alexander Wang

obsessed: KATE LANPHEAR

November 23rd, 2011 | Diana Pereira

From time to time I get a little obsessed over some people. There was Abbey Lee, Leighton Meester, Emmanuelle Alt, Emma Stone, etc… But there is one I can never let go. Kate Lanphear, the senior fashion editor for US Elle, has being my obsession for over years now. Just like my Balenciaga leather motorcycle jacket, Kate Lanphear‘s style has no season, no trend, and it’s classic and modern. She is always wearing black, my color of choice. Kate has the same glamorous punk look for as long as I can remember and she still manages to look fresh. Kate wears the best jewels out there, and a lot of it. Love it!!! Kate has the best haircut. G-, she is soooooo cool!!!_ Enough said, Kate street pics says it all.

I am on my way to Orlando on a family trip. I am hoping this time Disney won’t brain wash me and send me home with a luggage full of Mickey stuff I will never wear.
Anyways, I just got these Alexander McQueen‘s velvet slippers delivered the night before my flight. Yayyyyy!!! They are perfect traveling companions, super comfortable and really easy to slip it in and off . The best part of it, it is GORGEOUS!

Dress me up… around my neck

November 13th, 2011 | Diana Pereira

I love collars, maybe for the fact I am infatuate with shirts. Collars in all forms and shapes, accessorized and plain are giving my fall/winter closet a extra special look. But wait, the collars got company this time around, an extravagant affair with over the top necklaces. The duo looks beyond marvelous together, it brings a sense of luxe and character to a cold day outfit.

Welcome to my addiction!!!

November 11th, 2011 | Diana Pereira

My name is Diana Pereira and I am an addict. I am a 30 years old wife and mother from Brasil (yes, with an S!), living in Los Angeles. My addiction started when I was around 4 years old. I just couldn’t find the right clothes and accessories for my Barbie dolls. Thanks to my grandmother’s sewing skills, my Barbie dolls wardrobe became a must have between all the Barbie dolls in town. When Barbie  dolls no longer played a role in my life, I became the fashion muse for my inspirations. Finding the right clothes became challenging but very fun.

I took my addiction to the next level when I was around 12. I can never forget that navy blue Chanel backpack, with gold chains my aunt gave me. My aunt played a huge role in my addiction. She introduced me to Moschino, Dior, Dolce&Gabbana, Cartier, Fendi, Versace, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Gucci, Bvlgari, Herve Leger (back then, the brand was amazing!), Montana, Thierry Mugler, etc… My aunt also fed my addiction with some really good stuff often. When I was 17, I wore a John Galliano (R.I.P., I like to pretend he died, he is to fab for his mean words) for Dior Couture to a Vogue Brasil party, what an amazing feeling!

Over the years, my addiction became a way of life. My husband Fred and my daughter Maddi (I talk about them a lot, so you should know their names.) are a major collateral damage to my addictive lifestyle. I hope you too, will accept the way I am, and together we can build a better future (with lots more Hermes and Chanel in my closet) for this fashion addict. No rehab please, never!!!

xx
