Paris Haute Couture Fall 2012

Unfortunately ”our” favorite time of the year has come to an end.  The three days of Haute Couture Paris brought to us, not only interesting pieces from the runway, but from the curb side too. Even though I was not there; my heart, my mind and my soul was in Paris touching elbows with Anna and Karl. Still amazed by Raf Simons Dior debut and confused by Armani Privé, I never get it! _ It was russian haute couture collector turned into designer, Ulyana Sergeenko that had her dreams come true with a show attendance to have any new designer very jealous. To say money does not buy happiness is a total understatement.

I have always found the Haute Couture shows the ones that set the next seasons trends and expectations.  And just like every fashion week season , the street style played a major role in what is about to become cool. This time around, more Russian than ever, the fashion front Miroslava Duma, Elena Perminova, Vika Gazinskaya and Ulyana Sergeenko where the ones throughout Tommy Tom lenses. But as always, it was the effortless intriguing ensembles of Christine Centenera that had me.

Enough said _or not!, here is a collection of my favorite things Paris Haute Couture Fall 2012.

Elena Perminova  Inside Dior,  flower covered wallsMy favorite look from Dior. Raf Simons did really good.Mira Duma outside Chanel show. How awesome is this head piece.
Obsessed! What should I call this goodness, metallic leather arm warmers?! Chirstine, Chirstine and Christine Centenera. She is a fresh breath of air, back to what fashion is about _ good clothes, simply good clothes. Like her, I am over of the piles upon piles of layers and jewelry; and completely miss matching shoes, and patterns, and accessories.  Mirrored sunnies. My fave for the past year, here is my goodnees.Simple and beautiful. All photos via buro247.com, style.com and tumblr.
