Graphic Detail +++

September 29th, 2012 | Diana

As Fashion Week season still upon us and half way into Paris (the one that matters the most, I am just saying!). I find myself rather interested in the trends on the runway, but the ones on the street as well. Let me be clear; on the street style starlets, and from Tommy Tom’s likeness.
While repelling for a great cause, Leandra from The Man Repeller, believes graphic t-shirts are the hot commodity. I agree plus add a bit more drama. The graphic t-shirt comes with a mate from my point of view. A statement necklace! Remember this. Yes, this burger comes with a side of information. So follow me, I won’t disappoint.

The green chocker in the first photo, OMG!  Above a picture of my instafriend/now friend Nasiba. Do I need to mention the Balenciaga egyptofunk collection is trending and seems like everyone has one? I do? Ok, so look here, here, here, here, here, and me too. How did I know that?

Another russian way, above on the left, Elena Perminova with Kenzo sweatershirt and Yaz Buckey necklace. On the right, Mira Duma chooses flowers. Junya Wanatabe shirt and a green plexi oversized chain. I don’t where the necklace is from_shame on me, but I do know I need a friend to match colors not on purpose.

Flowers + Givenchy crop sweater + Mawi necklace (my number choice of jewelry)=Dazzling!!!

And now I present you with so many different necklaces to chose from. kiss kiss

“It must be the season of the sneakers”

August 23rd, 2012 | Diana

First came Tommy Tom, with his state of art streetstyle pictures, snapping some colorful, some customized Nike sneakers; during numerous Fashion Weeks  and 2011 along this statement _ “After years of towering around in sky-high heels, it was only a matter of time before fashion insiders came back down to earth and slipped into something more comfortable. Embraced by tastemaker Phoebe Philo as she makes her Celine bows and also seen in countless editorials, the sneaker has become the shoe of choice.”

Meanwhile, the very famous hidden heels Bekket Sneakers by Isabel Marant, which was introduced back early 2010 [HOLY COW! A two years trend?!_ (thanks to Anastasia I am changing my OMFG to holy cow!!!)], and still “impossible” to get it, the Bekket sneakers is on everyone’s feet. No joke!!!

But it wasn’t until last Haute Couture week, when Vika Gazinskaya’s Nike and dirndl skirt took over and named the begging of a new trend era. Soon came all the Model off duty looks from Stockholm Streetstyle during Paris Haute Couture and Copenhagen Fashion Weeks. Followed by outfit posts from bloggers and trend followers. I, like most of people mentioned, have got my tired and overworked feet into this trend. Casual hangover Fridays, became a Monday through Sunday thing for a flat addict like myself. Rest my lovely beat up Lanvins, take a break slippers, it’s sneakers time.

2nd Skin

June 4th, 2012 | Diana

Forgetting that I haven’t even worn half of my summer wardrobe _ I can’t stop obsessing and counting days for pre-fall collections to hit the stores. Pre-fall 2012 has more leather, fur, pony hair than ever, and I like it. Thanks to Moda Operandi I have already guarantee not to be in so many waiting lists, woohoo!!! Still desiring everything Céline, rumors of a Rodeo Drive location are going around.

The Grey Effect (NSFW)

May 14th, 2012 | Diana

Every season the intriguing crepuscular world of BDSM manages to show up on the runways, streets, editorials, clothes and accessories designs. With the growing intrest of a gorgeous young billionaire and his, once a virgin, girlfriend _ the bondage world has become a hot and normal topic among us women. It seems like fifty shades of fucked up still have a lot more to be seen.

Coachella inspired!

April 10th, 2012 | Diana

I am hoping the other 149,999 people (that is just a guess estimate, I don’t have a source) attending Coachella has being giving as much thought on their outfits as I have. Few months ago I saved this images from an editorial with Isabelli Fontana that is so Coachella inspiring (minus the heels) to me.

A bohemian moment

March 13th, 2012 | Diana

I have absolutely nothing, nothing at all, of a bohemian style. But every year, specially around this time, getting close to get ready (skinny, that would be) and packed for Coachella. I get this desperate surge for suede, fringe, rustic turquoise jewelry, cowboy boots, vintage denim… everything a trip to Isabel Marant would cover . This year, even not sure I will be sharing my personal square footage with another five people in the crowd, I am already building my bohemian inspired closet for a weekend or so. And I found this! These shorts are so perfect for my crave, I need it!

what makes me smile!

I don’t know what I love the most. The shot? The dress? The color? … This really makes me smile, I am so inspired.

Let’s talk hair!

December 8th, 2011 | Diana Pereira

Who knows me well, knows about my obsession with hair styles. I think I might change my hair, hummmm _ well, dramatic changes to stay for longer than couple months, at least 3 times a year. But there are the special occasions, holidays, vacation, and sometimes just because. I truly love getting my hair done, specially when there is a new shoe or dress to go with it. Well, let’s get back to hair. I found this photos soooo inspiring. The first photo is definitely my favorite, I will be copying this style as soon as I can. Ohh wait, the make up is so cool too. I will do that also, can’t wait!
