Van Halen

August 27th, 2012 | Diana

There are days that doesn’t matter what I do, I just don’t!!! Huge lack of inspiration today. I thought if I looked like my closet threw up on me, I would get back on track! Didn’t happen!!! So I went looking for the most simple things in life, like this van. Who was I kidding??? OH BABY?! That is horrid!!!_ Besides the name Van Halen. _ Things don’t need to make sense when you don’t make sense at all!
So I went to look for my happy place. Well, my second happiest place; it was way too early on a Monday to start drinking; _ The internet. And guess what? I found what I was looking for, myself!!! Check THIS out!
And here is the throw up look in the pics in details;
Chaser tee, ICB skirt, Citizen Of Humanity vest (seen here and here), Giuseppe Zanotti lace up heels(seen here), Givenchy bag (here and here), Shylee Rose dagger necklace (previously here), Daslu cross necklace

When the party is over!

May 30th, 2012 | Diana

I am a huge fan of my own wardrobe. There are very few pieces that have only been worn once or twice _ fortunately those pieces are not the ones that gets my husband’s eye twitching. I’ve always repeat outfits without a worry in my mind, I love what I own and I wear everything that I love to death. Right hubby?! Ever since I started frequenting the LA Persian Community bashes, life took a turn for me. Who wants to run into GG and be accused of wearing a dress from last season?(As if she will ever know what I am wearing??? The “engagement, wedding, bar mitzvah” season has officially begun.
Even though I don’t give a damm about repeating the same outfit with same group of people, some close relationships  (yes, my own husband) does care. So I have to always find a way to wear some of my formal gowns on a posh casual day. I got this Gucci Fall 2011 dress for a NYE party last year, and I had to remove two layers of chiffon off the dress in order to be as good as the one showed in the runway. I hate when designer houses change the original design for better sales, and I am sure the designer does too. I absolutely love this dress, I  wake up thinking of the day I can wear it again. I was stuck on it, so I put this outfit together for a “not-so-glam” charity event. The cowgirl look reminds me of old days in the night clubs around my hometown.
